I like the cold fronts that drop the high below 90...and the weatherpeople try to be all coy and cute with, "We don't know what else to call it!"

Last night was the first night in about six months the air conditioner wasn't running when I got up...and it was a comfy 72 non-assisted degrees in the house.

We shouldn't hit triple digits again until next June! But that doesn't mean we won't still see 90s until October. bah!

BUt, you're right -- the humidity (or lack thereof) does make a difference. It was *somewhat* bearable this morning.

We have been having relatively nice (although cool for early Sept) temps here in NJ with highs around 75, but the nights are already in the low 50's with windchills in the mid to upper 40's

Like Katie, I am starting to fear winter already. But I have to admit I am loving this fall weather. I have always worn Flannel Shirts and such for trips to go Pumpkin Picking, Apple Picking etc. But the past few years it has been so warm that I was wearing SHORTS. Not this year (at least so far).

Isn't that the truth! And we look forward to it. Oh, the 60's, how we long for them.

A sign you no longer live in Georgia:

"Today in Colorado, it's just about going to be hot, topping out at 78 degrees!"
